1. Agreement to Terms

By creating an account or using GlucoseIQ, you agree to these Terms of Service, our Privacy Policy, and our Medical Disclaimer. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

You must be at least 18 years old to use GlucoseIQ. By creating an account, you confirm that you meet this age requirement.

2. What GlucoseIQ Is (and Is Not)

GlucoseIQ is a personal wellness tool for tracking glucose readings, meals, activity, sleep, insulin, and related health data. It generates observations about patterns in your data to help you understand your glucose trends.

GlucoseIQ is not a medical device. It does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment recommendations. It is not a substitute for professional medical care. See our full Medical Disclaimer.

3. Your Account

  • You must provide accurate information when creating your account
  • You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure
  • You are responsible for all activity under your account
  • Notify us promptly if you suspect unauthorized access
  • One account per person

4. Your Data

Your data belongs to you. The health data you enter into GlucoseIQ is your personal information. We do not claim ownership over it.

By using GlucoseIQ, you grant us a limited license to store, process, and display your data solely to provide the service to you. We do not use your data for any other purpose.

You can export your glucose data at any time. You can delete your data or account at any time. Our Privacy Policy describes data handling in detail.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use GlucoseIQ for any unlawful purpose
  • Attempt to access another user's data
  • Reverse-engineer, decompile, or scrape the app or its APIs
  • Circumvent rate limits or security measures
  • Use automated tools to access the service (bots, scrapers)
  • Upload malicious files or content

6. Data Accuracy and Your Responsibility

You are responsible for the accuracy of the data you enter. GlucoseIQ does not verify whether your glucose readings, meal data, or other entries are correct. Insights are only as reliable as the data they are based on.

7. Third-Party Services

GlucoseIQ uses third-party services (Supabase for data storage, LogMeal and Anthropic for optional meal photo analysis). These services have their own terms and privacy practices. We are not responsible for the availability or conduct of third-party services.

8. Intellectual Property

The GlucoseIQ app, including its design, code, analytics algorithms, and branding, is owned by Asa Silver. These Terms do not transfer any intellectual property rights to you.

You retain full ownership of the personal data you enter into GlucoseIQ.

9. Disclaimers

GlucoseIQ is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Asa Silver and any agents will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of GlucoseIQ.

Our total liability for any claim arising from your use of GlucoseIQ will not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or $100, whichever is greater.

11. Account Termination

By you: You can delete your account at any time through Settings. Upon deletion, all your data will be permanently removed per ourData Deletion Policy.

By us: We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms. We will make reasonable efforts to notify you first.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you by email or through a notice in the app at least 14 days before the changes take effect.
