For Informational Purposes Only
GlucoseIQ is a personal wellness and data-tracking tool. It is designed to help you organize and observe patterns in your glucose readings, meals, activity, sleep, and related health data. Everything the app shows you is based on data you entered or imported.
Not a Medical Device
- GlucoseIQ is not a medical device
- GlucoseIQ has not been evaluated, cleared, or approved by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) or any other regulatory body
- GlucoseIQ is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease or medical condition
- GlucoseIQ does not measure glucose levels — it records and analyzes readings you enter or import from your own devices
Not Medical Advice
The insights, analytics, patterns, and observations generated by GlucoseIQ are based on mathematical analysis of your logged data. They are informational observations — not medical advice, clinical recommendations, or treatment guidance.
When the app says something “tends to” or “correlates with” or “appears associated with,” it is describing a statistical pattern in your data. It is not telling you what to do.
About Estimated A1c
GlucoseIQ may display an “Estimated A1c” value:
- The estimated A1c is a mathematical calculation based on your logged glucose readings
- It is not a laboratory test result
- It should not be used as a substitute for an HbA1c blood test ordered by your healthcare provider
- The estimate may differ significantly from your actual lab A1c
Always Consult Your Healthcare Provider
- Always seek the advice of your physician or other qualified healthcare provider with any questions about a medical condition
- Never disregard professional medical advice or delay seeking it because of something you saw in GlucoseIQ
- Do not use GlucoseIQ to make decisions about medication, insulin dosing, or treatment without consulting your healthcare provider
- GlucoseIQ does not replace regular medical checkups, laboratory tests, or professional diabetes management
Data Accuracy
- GlucoseIQ relies on data you enter or import. We do not verify the accuracy of your entries.
- Imported CGM data reflects what your device recorded. GlucoseIQ does not validate device calibration or accuracy.
- Meal photo nutritional estimates are approximate and may be inaccurate.
- Insights and analytics are only as reliable as the underlying data.
Insulin and Medication Logging
GlucoseIQ allows you to log insulin doses as a personal record. This feature is a logging tool — it does not calculate doses, recommend adjustments, or provide dosing guidance of any kind. Never adjust your insulin or medication based solely on information from GlucoseIQ. Always follow the guidance of your healthcare provider.
No Provider Relationship
Your use of GlucoseIQ does not create a patient-provider, doctor-patient, or any other healthcare relationship between you and GlucoseIQ or its operators. You are solely responsible for your health decisions.
Emergency
If you are experiencing a medical emergency, call 911 (or your local emergency number) immediately. Do not rely on GlucoseIQ in an emergency. The app is not designed for urgent or time-critical health situations.
